When MVN asked ESPN Radio's Colin Cowherd if
he reads blogs, here's what he said: "Big Lead,...
Deadspin both make me laugh daily. They are both clever. Love the headlines." Uh...then why did you direct your listeners to knock The Big Lead offline?

As someone who absolutely cannot stand Billy Packer,
I’m glad that CBS is FINALLY asking themselves if...
Packer should remain with the network for another season as the top college basketball analyst.

The biggest thing this win proves in that
Danica is more than just a pretty face. She’d...
been compared to Anna Kournikova for much of her career, in that neither had major success and were more famous for their side ventures. Which is kind of amazing when you consider that Patrick’s primary endorsement is with Go Daddy. It’s been years and I still don’t know what those guys do.

As a member of Red Sox Nation I
can’t help but giggle with glee like a two...
year old when I read reports surrounding the New York Yankees and Joba Chamberlain. Do you throw Chamberlain into the starting rotation? Do you keep him as a setup man? Do you replace Mariano Rivera with Chamberlain? What do you do with the kid? Do you make the biggest mistake ever?

Scared of dying at the ballpark? Didn’t think
so. But New York Times columnist Dave Anderson might...
be. He tried overplaying the dangers of death–or at least severe injury–at baseball games in yesterday’s Times.

Monday night made it official: the Golden State
Warriors are not getting an invitation to the NBA...
Playoffs. The fact that this year’s Warriors team was a LOT better than last year’s crew is what makes this even more disheartening. But not as much as the fact that a bunch of goofs in Atlanta that go by the name “Hawks” are going to go at least 5 games below .500 and keep their summer plans on ice.

No one wants Barry Bonds. Not even teams
desperate for attendance will entertain bringing the biggest draw...
in baseball into the fold. It has nothing to do with collusion or Bonds’ involvement in HGH, clears, creams and other assorted experiments with athletic chemistry. It has everything to do with Barry Bonds the person.

The Golden State Warriors and their fans are
probably justifiably upset that had they been the Garden...
State Warriors or the Constitution State Warriors, they’d be looking at a fourth seed instead of a ninth seed. But knowing the Warriors, they won’t stop 'we believing' quite yet.

As bad as it was that the Red
Sox took so long to open their arms to...
Bill Buckner, it doesn't hold a candle to Moises Alou and his statements about the infamous Bartman play in the 2003 NLCS. If Alou's statements that the ball was uncatchable were truly honest, he would have said them much sooner.

If you wanted to see the Final Four
in-person, your wallet was gonna be lightened considerably --...
tickets for the event were as "cheap" as $175 each on StubHub, and as expensive as $3,334. Still, although these prices were rough for sports fans looking to attend the games, tickets for the Final Four were fairly "reasonable" when compared to the ticket prices for the World Series and Super Bowl.

Improv Everywhere is at it again -- and
their latest prank happens to involve a Little League...
game. Without the players, coaches, or parents of two youth baseball teams knowing what was happening, they turned a game into a major league affair. They brought a Jumbotron, the Goodyear Blimp, an announcing team that included Jim Grey, and a ton of other stuff -- and they filmed the whole thing.

Roy Williams seated courtside, wearing a Kansas logo. Loyalty...
to a previous employer is one thing, but jumping on Bill Self’s bandwagon this late is ridiculous. Let’s hope this was simply a momentary lapse in judgment, and that the rumors regarding Roy wearing the Jayhawks’ mascot costume are unsubstantiated.
