Charlie was a promising power forward... in seventh grade. But he never grew beyond six-foot-one or developed that left hand, and his dreams of playing for Louie Carnesecca's Redmen withered on the vine. As so often happens, he turned his attention to writing about hoops.

Experience: Charlie is a freelance sportswriter who has covered pro and college basketball for RotoWire.com and fantasy basketball for NBA.com, Yahoo!, Fox Sports and other websites, and in print for the RotoWire and NBA fantasy preview magazines. He's also the author of "Lane Violation" -- laneviolation.com -- a basketball blog, and a regular guest on the RotoWire Fantasy Sports Hour on XM Radio. In a previous life, he was sports editor for AOL's "Digital City New York" site.
