There was another reason that Houston took Game
1: by my count, the the last two times
that Ron Artest let his barber go berserk before playing against the Lakers, he's been an efficient machine, propelling his squad to victory.

Blake Griffin is both the No. 1 pick
and the best future pro in this draft class.
He’s like a 6-10 version of Charles Barkley with stupid athleticism, a great motor, and legitimate ball skills. So who's number two?

Though March brings out some of the best
in basketball - everything that you love about the
Tournament - it also inspires annual criticism of the NBA. Sports talking heads get on the League for a number of things, some valid and some not.

There’s no one in the League that I’d
rather score on than DeShawn Stevenson. He talks incessantly
and still does that stupid “I can’t feel my face” thing - it’s done nothing but turn him into a villain. I’m not saying it’d be easy. But there’d be nothing better than sticking a jumper on DeShawn.

Yeah, it’s Shaq. How do you get the
word “unappreciated” out of somebody who’s made over $250
million in NBA salary, tens of millions more in endorsements, who still has national ad campaigns on TV (I think I saw an Icy-Hot commercial the other day)...

told me people are putting this stuff about him
coming to Brooklyn because of Jay-Z. First of all, this Brooklyn thing is no wrap. That’s not a done deal. Hova’s his boy, but that’s going to determine where he leaves, if he chooses to do so."
