You had to figure there would be a
race that would shake up the standings a bit.
Who knew it would be Lowe's Motor Speedway? In spite of the change brought about by the race, the outcome is more than a little familiar.

With good reason, Mark Martin has effusive praise
for crew chief Alan Gustafson. The pit boss who
idolized the driver as a youth gambled with pit strategy and came out smelling like a rose when it looked liek the race belonged to pole-sitter Juan Pablo Montoya. For Martin, it's his 40th career win.
