How many baseball players have wanted to knock
down a umpire after a blown call? Well this
baseball player from a Taiwan league did just that after being called out on a play at first. The problem is when looking at the video replay he actually looks to be out - or it is to close to call. So running from the dugout and slamming into the umpire might have been a bit of an overreaction.

President George W. Bush threw out the the
first pitch last night for the Washington Nationals season
opener and as you can hear from the video the fans in attendance were not big fans. While President Bush was introduced you can hear more boos then cheers for the outgoing Commander-in-Chief. Honestly, I might not be a fan of Bush but I don’t agree with booing him.

We all know that Patrick Roy was a
legendary goalie, maybe one of the best to ever
stand between the pipes. However, did you know that he now coaches in a Quebec Junior Hockey league and his son, Jonathan Roy, is their teams starting goalie? Did you also know that they are a bunch of goons?

How bad do you have to feel for
a goalie that allows a slap-shot from the other
side of the rink to bounce over his glove and into the net? Watch this video and you will feel for the Toronto Maple Leafs goalie because the puck does take some crazy bounces but he should have gotten his body in front of it. Hey a goal is a goal for the New York Islanders.

So the NBA season is slowly winding down
and the playoff picture is getting a bit more
clear as we have only a few more weeks left to play. Even though the seedings will probably change a bit 2 things are very clear - the Eastern Conference has only two teams with a real shot at winning the NBA Championship and the Western Conference will have the best playoff basketball by far.

The NBA Draft and NFL Draft get most
of the attention this time of year, however the
NHL Draft will be coming up this June. The NHL Draft is definitely a lot more difficult to predict since there is not nearly as much information out there. However, that doesn’t stop us here at myMockDrafts from doing out first ever 2008 Mock NHL Draft. The 2008 NHL Draft is being held in Ottawa on June 20th.

Anaheim Ducks captain Chris Pronger was suspended by
the NHL for 8 games without pay for stomping
on Vancouver Canucks forward Ryan Kesler’s leg. I have watched the video a few times and personally I don’t see it being that big of a all deal. Looking at the video it appears more that he is kicking away after getting his leg tangled up.

Greg Oden was the first pick in the
2007 NBA Draft, unfortunately the team that drafted him,
the Portland Trail Blazers, didn’t get to benefit this season from the big guy. Looks like that will all change for next season as Oden practiced with the team for 45 minutes yesterday. Oden sat out his “rookie” season after undergoing microfracture surgery on his right knee.
