I'm originally from Australia, but live in the UK and love the NBA... but not just the NBA, all basketball. It's from this unique perspective that I try to follow everything from the Australian NBL, to Euro leagues to NBA. I used to run a blog called RGB : Rose Garden Blog, but have moved onto A Stern Warning to have a more well-rounded view on basketball, without showing so much of my Blazers bias! Web Site: ...a stern warning Claimed Blog: A Stern Warning - NBA, NBL and FIBA News & Views Games: 2008 NBA Playoffs Pick'em, 2007 NBA Playoffs Pick'em, When The Game Was Ours BallHype Member since March 28, 2007 |

Doubting Thomas: a term that has a common
meaning in the English language. It refers to someone
who doubts the veracity of something or someone, dating back to Thomas who doubted Jesus in the Bible. It has a double-meaning when it comes to NBA talk, with reference to the hoards that have ...

Agent Dagger is a relatively new Washington Wizards
blog, run by Will Yoder. He asked both Bust
a Bucket and A Stern Warning to weigh in on the debate as to whether Greg Oden was the right choice for the Blazers in 2007 or whether Kevin Durant should have been the way to go. Take a read of the ...

This is compelling on so many levels. Firstly,
we have a multitude of interesting stories from NBA
blogs across the Bloguin network. Secondly, Don of with-malice has put together a novel theme, in going with great uniform numbers of old. Lastly, the logo above is one of the best I've seen ...

James White. Surely you've heard of him. He's
quite possibly the best dunker not in the NBA
-- or even the best dunker in the world, according to some. Whilst not having proven himself to have consistent NBA talent (remaining a fringe player), he now plays with Russian Super League club, ...

This has been too long coming. The constant
speculation over where LeBron James will play in 2010-11
and onwards has become nauseatingly boring. Any time I see an article related to the potential whereabouts of LeBron, DWade or Bosh, I immediately whirl up the internet engine and move on ...

The Allen Iverson in Memphis experiment is over.
Sadly, the only impression that the Answer made in
Memphis was one of distraction and negativity. We know he could have done so much more for the team, if only he's been able to drop his ego and accept a bench role -- but that's not the AI we ...

Well, Stephen Jackson is now a Charlotte Bobcat
and I hope he's happy. After complaining that he
wanted out of the Bay Area, as no person getting paid millions to play basketball should, he has been shipped out by the Golden State Warriors, for a bag of chips and a raspberry slurpee. As you ...

Passion. Loyalty. Excitement. Ecstasy. Agony. These are all
words that you would associate with the average interpersonal
marriage or long-term relationship? Well, at least the agony, many men might say. However, they are all the emotions that the majority of sports fans would link with fandom ...

Will Bynum of the Detroit Pistons is listed
as 6'0" according to his NBA.com profile. There is
no way that he is any taller than that. But boy, that other Bynum knows how to get up! The guard, with a mere 81 NBA games under his belt since entering the league in 2005-06 with the Golden State ...

This dunk was absurdly huge. I wasn't going
to post it at first, as I figured that
everyone would have seen it somewhere or other by now. But I realised that this is a selfish attitude. Perhaps you weren't watching the game last night or perhaps have been living under a non-basketball-inhabited ...

LeBron James has got news for us --
it's time to ditch the 23. In a welcome
