I am an avid sports fan and an ordinary, average guy. I have played and coached for years, and have followed most sports and have a great appreciation of the competition and the fundamentals that make up these great games that devour so much of our time. My columns are intended for real sports fans, written by a real sports fans, no predictions, just interesting and hopefully insightful analysis. Ok, maybe a prediction once in awhile, but after picking the Lakers in five I'm sworn off prognostication, at least until football season starts in September.
