Real Madrid midfielder Kaka has not recovered from a groin injury and has been ruled out of Tuesday's Champions League game against Marseille. The Brazil playmaker was not included in the 20-man squad announced Sunday that will travel to Marseille for the final group game. Rafael Van der Vaart, who replaced Kaka in Madrid's league match against Almeria on Saturday, is included in the squad.

Fernando Torres has been ruled out of Liverpool's Premier League match at Blackburn on Saturday because he has yet to recover fully from a groin injury. The Spain striker has been out of action since Nov. 4. He trained this week but is not totally fit. Liverpool manager Rafa Benitez says "he's doing well but he will not be ready for this game." Torres has scored 10 goals in 10 Premier League matches this season but has not played since the 1-1 Champions League draw at Lyon.
