The UEFA-imposed player selection deadline for Euro 2008
is officially May 28, but while other coaches prefer
to keep their options open by making “pre-selections” of 28-30 players, Portugal manager Luiz Felipe Scolari went straight to the point today and gave his final List of 23 who will be travelling to SwissAustria in June. Once again, there were some surprises with the selections & omisssions

This is the time of year where you’ll
see the best of lists from the various European
leagues. They are only so many times I can see Cristiano Ronaldo and Fernando Torres in the same Starting 11 in year end reviews. Since I like to think that this site brings something fresh and interesting to the table I decided I’d do a Starting Eleven list excludes teams from the top four in English football.
