The biggest blame of all that I have
for Iraqi officials is for not going to Lausanne.
I went there last fall for a meeting, and it was one of the most beautiful places on Earth, with great scenery, clean streets, and fresh air. The Olympic place, where IOC is located, is awesome, too. They definitely missed out on a chance to get some respite from the hellhole that is Baghdad.
