fifth goal of the season for the Galaxy in
a special Independence Day match at home versus the New England Revolution. --- His full volley in the 66th minute was the team's only goal. --- Despite a 2-1 loss, however, LA remains in first place in the Western Conference at their midway point for the season (6-6-3), with 21 points.
