Tottenham has finalized a deal with their goaltender
for next season after reaching agreement with PSV Eindhoven
on a £7 million fee for 27-year-old Brazilian Heurelho Gomes. The player and club have agreed to terms this morning on a contract that is subject to a medical and obtaining a work permit. Gomes immediately becomes Spurs number one keeper and addresses their biggest need.
