Sounders FC 2010 training camp opens Jan. 25

That's the word from the club today. I would assume it will be at Starfire. Also, the team will conduct fitness training in the Phoenix area from February 1 to February 8 or 9. Of course this is all contingent on the approval of the CBA, failure to do so will cause irreparable damage to a league still so new and trying to gain a solid foothold in the U.S. sports landscape.

9 a.m. our time. I saw it on the listings and here's a story about it here. You have to think that at least one CONCACAF team will be in the proverbial "group of death," but I'm hoping our region is given a fighting chance in the group stage. It just seems the U.S. is always in a tough group, perhaps Mexico will get that this time and the U.S. will get some lighter competition.
