... According to the Kansas City Star, Hideo Nomo is no longer a candidate for a spot in the Royal’s rotation. This comes after a horrendous start on Saturday against the Brewers. The thirty-nine year old is trying to make a comeback after being out of the league for a couple of years with shoulder issues. He’s had some encouraging flashes, getting many strikeouts, but other than that, there isn’t a bright side to him.
