New York Yankees Fan Blog — ... have a sense of what he meant to those early '60s Yankee teams, especially in the postseason. We were sorry to hear of his passing . It is always sad when a franchise loses a piece of its past, and Tresh was certainly a big part of one of the most dominant teams in Yankee history. It is High penned a nice tribute to Tresh . Some of Tresh's former teammates offered their thoughts on him to Yankees.com . The new Yankee Stadium now has grass on the field, and Greg of Sliding Into Home has posted some awesome pictures of it .
