As Pro Football Talk explains, the 2005 first round was full of players that didn't turn out (just another reason why trading for Jared Allen is more likely to work out than keeping the picks or using them to move up in the draft) ...

... With the 2008 NFL Draft now in the books, I am reminded of the popular saying that it takes a full three to four years to properly evaluate a team’s draft choices. And so, inspired by PFT’s look back at the 1st round of 2005 (coupled with my TBL commenting-withdrawal), I decided to go back a year further to see how well the first-rounders from 2004 have fared thus far.
