... expressed?  Which is more rare: a slashing D-Wade-ish 2 guard or a Wes Unseld type front court player?  Skilled bigs are very hard to find while hot-shot 6'4"ish shooting guards make the rounds each and every single draft.  The last thing I'll say about Mayo is this: he's a souped-up Randy Foye.  While it would be nice to upgrade to the Camry, I'm glad the team stuck with the Tercel while picking up an F-150.  Draft Express has released their Draft report card.  Here's their take on the Wolves: A ...

... I want to make a special mention of Jonathan Givony's Draft Report Card over at Draftexpress. Unlike many of the larger media outlets, Givony does an excellent job evaluating the value each team got with the assets they had going into the draft, meaning his grades reflect draft position, pre-draft trades and how the players will fit into the team's system (if they have one, ahem...Memphis). An A+ from Givony means a lot, so make sure to read his thoughts on Portland's night. ...

... Also, the final thing I am going to mention about Richard Hendrix (unless he turns out to be really good or gets released in training camp): according to Draft Express, his draft stock fell because of a knee injury that was uncovered at the predraft camp (despite his apparently playing well there). Draft Express points out that not only were Hendrix’s college numbers almost identical to Carlos Boozer’s, but Boozer also fell in the draft for the same reason. ...

... #34/Chalmers. I'm not too pleased with how #34 played out but there are two factors that cloud the decision. First, the timing with making and trading this pick and the Love trade aren't clear. If the Wolves hadn't already traded #34, it would've been smart to hold off on moving it once they knew something was back on with Memphis. Second, we did get a decent return. Depending on your source we got between $1.5 million and ...
