Focusing on 2008
Pats Pulpit — ... Eli say, "I'm going to Disneyworld!!" and that was because I was too slow with the remote.  In order to get my mind moving away from the ONE in the loss column, I'm trying to focus on the future, on 2008. List of Available Free Agents for 2009
Canal Street Chronicles — ... the list looks appetizing and and I pray the Saints go on a shopping spree, keep in mind that Christmas is over and they're not the Yankees. Who wouldn't want to see Brandon Jacobs, Ray Lewis and Albert Haynesworth wearing the black and gold next year? But it just ain't gonna happen so let's all be reasonable. Also note the players on this list who are currently on the Saints roster. Who should be resigned and who should they cut ties with? Panthers Free Agent Decisions Are Looming
Cat Scratch Reader — ...   The only other notable Panther free agent is TE Jeff King. King's role in the passing game was dramatically reduced as he only notches 21 receptions in 2008 after putting up 46 last season. His main role was blocking and for the most part he seemed to do a good job of it. Since the Panthers don't have any other blocking TE's I don't see King going anywhere. If you're interested in seeing what other free agents may be available around the NFL here's a good site.  Some other intriguing names that would look good in Carolina blue: ...

49ers QB issues: Marc Bulger for the short term anyone?
Niners Nation — ... Is that enough to warrant bringing him back in St. Louis?  I don't know their cap space, and I don't know what their plans are with what will be a very high draft pick.  But say St. Louis decided to release him to start clearing up cap space.  I've said it in the comments somewhere else, and I'll say it again, the current crop of free agent quarterbacks is rather miserable.  Your two best QB options are ...
