  I agree with most of the picks. Wes Walker should have made the team. Also, this year i would have selected Dallas Clark at the other tight end position in the AFC over Gonzalez, and Derek Anderson over Ben Roethisberger.

FanIQ Blog — The 2008 Pro Bowl rosters have been announced, take a look. Naturally, it's the snub list that always draws the most attention when discussing the Pro Bowl which is often more entertaining than the game itself. One glowing name missing: Fred Taylor. It appears his 10 extra votes weren't good enough. Other names being thrown out as snubs: Wes Welker, Jason Peters, Fred Taylor, David Garrard, Greg Jennings, Marques Colston, Nick Barnett and Charles Woodson. On a positive note, it's great to see rookies Adrian Peterson and Patrick Willis in the mix. Future offensive and defensive MVPs for sure. We'll talk more about this I'm sure, but what are your initial reactions. ...

...Vrabel, Samuel, Wilfork get their due
ESPN.com - NFL Nation Blog — Posted by ESPN.com's Mike Sando New England's Mike Vrabel, Asante Samuel and Vince Wilfork are heading to the Pro Bowl for the first time. The scouts I speak with are very high on Wilfork as a key to that defense. Vrabel is getting to the quarterback this season. Samuel has been among the best for a while. Full Pro Bowl rosters here.

Albert Haynesworth, Kyle Vanden Bosch and Rob Bironas Pro Bowl Starters
Music City Miracles — Kyle Vanden Bosch, Albert Haynesworth and Rob Bironas have all been named starters in the Pro Bowl.  They are the only 3 Tennessee Titans to make the team.  Click here to see the full rosters for both conferences. This is a well deserved honor for all 3 guys.  Haynesworth and Vanden Bosch have been wreaking havoc on opponents offenses all season long.  Bironas has single footedly won multiple games for the Titans this season.  Congratulations to all 3 guys. The Titans got all 3 guys in that deserved it. It would be nice to see Keith Bulluck there, but as nvemvp mentioned here he isn't having his best season. It would just be nice for him to make the trip because he deserved it ...

Rumors and Rants — I'll just come straight out and ask: why does the NFL release the Pro Bowl rosters two weeks before the season ends? Save it, wise-guy commenter, we all realize there's probably some logistical nightmare of a reason behind this, but it still doesn't make the regular kind of sense. There's simply no need to tell everyone on December 18th who will start the Pro Bowl game in February. After all, this isn't baseball. The game doesn't happen at mid-season. The NFL is wasting our time with this meaningless announcement. First, the most obvious reason: there's two freaking games left! Not only that, but since it's the last weeks of the season, the games matter quite a bit more, especially for the teams ...
