Haynesworth, Vanden Bosch named to Pro Bowl
Titans Tracker - A Tennessee Titans Blog —
Congratulations to Albert Haynesworth and Kyle Vanden Bosch. The two Tennessee Titans defensive linemen were named to the 2008 NFL Pro Bowl roster today.
Haynesworth’s selection was expected. Big Al may be the league’s defensive MVP and is a player the Titans must have on the field to win. Haynesworth currently has six sacks and 36 tackles (31 solo).
It’s great to have a complementary pass rusher like Vanden Bosch on the field with Haynesworth. Kyle currently has nine sacks and 48 tackles (39 solo).

-- There are 11 Cowboys, yet only four Packers. Same records. Same conference.
-- There are no Jaguars. They're possibly the second best team in the AFC. Seems fair.

Going To Hawaii
Acme Packing Company —
Congratulations to WR Donald Driver, DE Aaron Kampman, CB Al Harris, and QB Brett Favre for making the Pro Bowl. Favre's skipped the last three or four times he's been selected, so it will be interesting to see if he makes the trip. I'm not a big fan of the Pro Bowl because I'm not a fan of the game itself, and it can potentially drive the $$$ price up on a player who isn't really that good (not that I'm thinking of TE Bubba Franks or anything). But the recognition obviously means a lot to them: ...
