Haynesworth, Vanden Bosch named to Pro Bowl
Titans Tracker - A Tennessee Titans Blog — Congratulations to Albert Haynesworth and Kyle Vanden Bosch. The two Tennessee Titans defensive linemen were named to the 2008 NFL Pro Bowl roster today. Haynesworth’s selection was expected. Big Al may be the league’s defensive MVP and is a player the Titans must have on the field to win. Haynesworth currently has six sacks and 36 tackles (31 solo). It’s great to have a complementary pass rusher like Vanden Bosch on the field with Haynesworth. Kyle currently has nine sacks and 48 tackles (39 solo).

Pro Bowl Rosters Released, Let's Cry About Snubs
The Sporting Blog — By Chris Mottram This year's Pro Bowl rosters have been released (take a look for yourself -- Appropriately, Sean Taylor is the starting free safety. -- There are 11 Cowboys, yet only four Packers. Same records. Same conference. -- There are no Jaguars. They're possibly the second best team in the AFC. Seems fair. -- Marques Colston is left off both the starters and reserves list, despite being second in receptions and third in yards in the NFC. At the very least, he should be a reserve over Donald Driver. ...

2008 Pro-Bowl Rosters announced… Chiefs get two players a free trip to Hawaii
MVN RSS — Well, despite suffering through one of the worst seasons in franchise history, there were two players who shined above their peers throughout the rest of the league enough to earn Pro-Bowl honors: Chiefs TE Tony Gonzalez and DE Jared Allen Tony will be making his 9th trip to Hawaii for the Pro Bowl, and was voted in as the AFC’s backup TE behind San Diego Chargers TE Antonio Gates. Jared will be making his first trip to the Pro Bowl, but he’ll be the AFC’s starting DE, playing opposite of Tennessee’s Kyle Vanden Bosch. You can check out the entire AFC and NFC rosters here Not much more to say, ...

Going To Hawaii
Acme Packing Company — Congratulations to WR Donald Driver, DE Aaron Kampman, CB Al Harris, and QB Brett Favre for making the Pro Bowl. Favre's skipped the last three or four times he's been selected, so it will be interesting to see if he makes the trip. I'm not a big fan of the Pro Bowl because I'm not a fan of the game itself, and it can potentially drive the $$$ price up on a player who isn't really that good (not that I'm thinking of TE Bubba Franks or anything). But the recognition obviously means a lot to them: ...

Sean Taylor, Pro Bowl SafetyThe Curly R: A Washington RedskinZ Blog
Respected at work Redskins safety Sean Taylor was selected posthumously as the starting free safety in the Pro Bowl scheduled for 10 February 2008. Sean was leading the fan vote at the time of his death and I can only imagine the voting went through the roof after that. It takes more than fan votes to get to Honolulu, that is only one third of the votes. Players and coaches each constitute ...
