Giants rings get jacked
Published 6/11/2008 by houroc at Hail Mary Jane» Hail Mary Jane
Remember those really nice Super Bowl rings that the Giants were supposed to get for winning the big game?  Well it looks like theres going to be a little bit of a delay in them receiving the rings. During a $2 million dollar jewelry heist in Attleboro, MA thieves made off with a lot of items, including the Giants Super Bowl rings. The thieves were pretty good at what they do. They cut a hole in the roof, snuck in, cut the phone lines and made off with a 1000 pound safe. My only question is, why were the rings in Massachusetts in the first place? There are currently no suspects in the trial but if the police want to know where to start, they should check the names Brady, Belichick and Seau. Just ...

Giants' Super Bowl Rings stolen in The Attleboro Job
Published 6/11/2008 at Shutdown Corner
Thieves disabled the alarm system at E.A. Dion, a jewelry manufacturer in Attleboro, Massachusetts, cut a hole in the roof, and somehow got out of there clean with a safe that weighed over 1,000 pounds. Among the items in the safe were some Giants Super Bowl Rings. It's not clear exactly how many rings where in the safe, or who they belonged to. The players already were awarded their rings. Maybe these belonged to the players who hadn't gotten theirs yet (Jeremy Shockey, perhaps), other team employees, or maybe some guys just chose to keep their rings in a supposedly safe place. Police say they have no suspects. But Shutdown Corner is a friend to law enforcement, so I'm going to throw some theories ...

A store employee discovered the crime Sunday when cut phone lines prevented her from checking her e-mail. The owner of the jewelry company, Edward Dion Jr., said of the burglary, “ we’ve run into a bit of a hiccup ...

Giants Super Bowl rings stolen in daring heist

This is very suspicious: apparently a Massachusetts jewelry maker that was crafting the Giants’ Super Bowl rings — a scandal in itself — was robbed of the rings and other merchandise totaling $2 million over the weekend.
