Washington 6, Atlanta 0. Smoltz had another special day, worthy of the elite milestone that he achieved. He only needed 4 strikeouts to reach 3,000, but he ended up with 10 in 7 innings. J. Smoltz of the Braves is cruising to start the 2008 season. In his first three starts of the season Smoltz has the following numbers; 3-0, 16IP, 10H, 1ER, 6BB, 21K, and a 0.56ERA.
