Sexson was just released by the Seattle Mariners, despite the fact that they still owe him about $7 Million. He was a two-time all-star with the Milwaukee Brewers, but quickly declined after moving to Seattle.
In his first two years there, his power numbers remained strong, despite a slipping batting average. However, in 2007 his power dried up - hitting only 21 homers with a .399 SLG - and his batting average sunk all the way to .205. ...
