The 49ers have released wide receiver Darrell Jackson. With the recent signing of Bryant Johnson, this leaves the team with Arnaz Battle, Isaac Bruce, Ashley Lelie, and Jason Hill to compete for the starting jobs. This looks like enough for the team not to pursue a possible wide receiver in the draft. But now, with Jackson gone, the Niners are trying to figure out what's the next step.

According to ProFootballtalk.com, the Eagles, Vikings, Bucs and Redskins are all interested in the services of the 8-year veteran.
