... we didn't really watch the home run derby, won by Justin Morneau but dominated by Josh Hamilton . Seeing the Stadium as the backdrop was still a pretty sight. To that end, Mike Puma has the lead-up to tonight's A-S game at the Stadium . In other news... Newsday's Shaun Powell ponders what the perfect baseball night would be for the A-S game. Okay, Mo is closing the A-S Game. Wait. Or is he ? Seriously, it doesn't matter guys. We're not sure why this was a big deal -- we suppose it's because Jonathan Papelbon is purposely flaring ...

Look I want the American League to win tonight but there’s a part of me that wants the National League to win now just so New York Yankees closer Mariano Rivera doesn’t have a chance to throw the last pitch of an All-Star Game. And if you want to know why, just ask the New York media.
