Chivas USA take on the Crew
Chivas USA —
Chivas USA travel to Columbus to take on the Crew Saturday at 4:30.
Team update here.
Chivas USA have been working to get back into form after a rocky preseason plagued with injury. A majority of the starting line up was injured or out due to surgery.
Lets start with the possible line up. Chivas USA have yet to announce the status of Ante Razov, Lawson Vaughn or Alecko Eskandarian (listed as questionable). I’ll update you if I hear anything. All in all, we may see a line up like this… ...

*That today's column provoked a lively debate here.
*Chivas USA defender Lawson Vaughn underwent surgery over the weekend at Little Company of Mary Hospital in Torrance. The procedure, performed by Dr. Jay W. Granzow included a surgical repair of Vaughn's nose, which was broken in several places, as well as repair to a laceration on his right cheek, which required 32 stitches.

Justin Braun Scores His 1st MLS Goal

... how that stuff goes. Ended up playing Indoor Soccer with him over the course of these last two years twice a week and the kid just got better.
Between classes at the local Community College and working at a Soccer Store, Justin worked on his game as much as he could. And then he got his chance in the form of a man named Preki…. who says Developmental Contracts are bush league?
We’ll have his story in his own words later in the week.

Four months ago I was playing in front of no one in a men’s league in Salt Lake City and fields where you took your dog for a walk.
Now my goal is to continue playing and improving everyday. I have been given this opportunity and am going to do all I can to make the best of it

Michael Bradley Trains With Chivas USA
TheOriginalWinger.com —
US National Team, Olympic Team and Heerenveen star Michael Bradley was out at Chivas USA training this morning, getting in a session to stay sharp and fit.
With the England match just around the corner, it looks like the Eredivisie standout is doing exactly what David Beckham did when training with Arsenal. Just getting a run in. Nothing more, nothing less.

I’m guessing Talley or Bornstein will play, which will change the line up significantly. Additionally, I wouldn’t be surprised to see Suarez get the nod before Curtin. Dejair could potentially play, as his permits have been secured.
The only notable player missing from Kansas City (besides Victorine) would be Davy Arnaud, due to yellow card accumulation.

My man on the inside, namely Chivas USA photographer Juan Miranda, snapped this picture of a decidedly less-Fabioesque Kljestan for Dentro del Rebaño at yesterday's goat's practice and I'm sure that there will be many confused & distraught ladies throughout the New Soccer Nation as the word spreads. ...
