Russia defeated Finland 5-2 today and looked much better than they did against Latvia. Russia is now 2-0 in pool play. More games tonight (more) WJC ( Day 3)

Andersson, Swedes advance to WJC finals
Snapshots — Red Wings prospect Joakim Andersson was held off the scoresheet but finished at a +2 as the Swedes rallied via a 4-goal third period to defeat Slovakia 5-3 on Saturday night. The Swedes will face off against the Canadians, who beat Russia in a shootout, for the World Junior Championship title on Monday.
