Hamels has all the potential in the world, whether or not he lives up to all the hype surrounding him in the coming years is another story.   His 3.50 ERA and 156 strike outs rank third amongst pitchers that qualify for this list.  As long as Hamels can stay healthy he should develop into one of the premier pitchers in this league within the next four years.  As studies have shown players peak around 27, so it’s likely that his best is yet to come.  (Good Interview here with Cole at Bugs and Cranks) ...
