We became very concerned that this player just didn’t want to sign with us so we had to move quickly to sign a new number one goaltender. From TSN: Washington signs UFA G Jose Theodore to a 2 year deal (undisclosed) Here is the link to the TSN report. One question: Why? Theodore is a downgrade from Cristobal Huet and is not consistent enough for a young team. His inconsistency was better managed by the veteran Avs last season. I don't particularly understand this signing.
