According to Major Local Newspaper , Derrick Turnbow’s days on the team are pretty much numbered. But here’s the thing. The Brewers version of Matt Diaz, Joe Dillon, was sent down a little over two weeks ago to make room for Yovani Gallardo.

... Brew Crew have officially designated Turnbow for assignment and are taking responsibility for the remainder of his $3.2 million salary this year. They have 10 days to either trade him, palce him on waivers, or send him to the minors outright. Milwaukee recalled outfielder Joe Dillon from the AAA Nashville Sounds to take his spot on the roster.
