Very slick, professional production. Great PR for Baron.

Erin Great stuff -- Baron is truly man of the people. I can't believe how many people turned down a free subway sandwich though. It's not Quizno's, but dude, it's free and it's Baron!-
Fear the Beard Crazy, right? It was baffling watching people walk right by us.

It's almost like he thrives on not being given a choice to make, like at Syracuse. - Baron Davis gets his karma on : Fear the Beard hooks up a digital short with Baron buying people smoothies and mass transit tix. YouTube Gold: Baron Davis puts 'contract karma' to the test
Ball Don't Lie —
A couple of weeks ago, the good guys at Fear the Beard scored some face time with the man, the myth, the beard — Baron Davis. Not only did they land a sit down interview with the Warriors guard (coming shortly), but they also challenged him to take his love for the Bay Area out into the streets with hopes it could improve his cosmic 'contract karma.' Boom Dizzle agreed, FTB mic'd him up, and the gold was captured on film. Pau Gasol's hamstrings would like to hear more about this (not yet available) Jamba Juice "Boom Boost."

(Neighbor)hood loyalty.
Fear The Beard —
A couple of days ago I got an email blast from Yelp.com that featured an interview with Baron Davis. Other then the prerequisite “what are you doing these days” line of questioning, BD also ran down some of his favorite spots for eats and threads.
The man is most certainly loyal to his neighborhood. In fact, most all of his picks are a stones throw from his own SOMA headquarters. And yes, Yelp’s corporate HQ too. Which might explain the “surprise visit”.
For those interested in following in the steps of our whiskered Warrior, his short list includes; Umbria, Ozumo, Boulevard, Nieman and Barneys. Oh, and don’t forget to try Boom Dizzle’s favorite pregame meal at Zebulon. You ...

... in game-shape because of his injuries last season, which have plagued him his entire career. However, there is a sentiment that Davis was less than focused over the course of last season-many believe he began to give up when the Clippers lost Elton Brand and grew more apathetic from there over the course of the season. Baron has an extremely vibrant life outside of basketball, and is one of the league’s biggest personalities-his off-court antics are often hilarious, endearing, and even downright admirable. But Baron’s first responsibility is to be a ...
