A Friendly Jazz-Warriors Wager II (flag)

Barnes Mohawk As Jason explained on his poll, he and I have a friendly wager on the Jazz-Warriors series that tips off Monday night. He's picked out some good penalties for me, but I think mine are tougher (the photo to the right should give you a hint).

The Warriors had a great run to beat the Mavericks, but their time in the sun is over. I'm looking to the Jazz to dominate with their big but quick front line. Assuming the Jazz win, Jason will receive whichever penalty below receives the most votes. Go Jazz!

I apologize for my vote. And I pray for you (and Erin, actually) that GS wins.

I'm pretty sure I won't have to deal with the mohawk. But regardless, I'm just glad tattoos like Matt Barnes didn't show up in the list.

That would go beyond the level of a "friendly" wager. That's harmful to the national psyche.

Life long Jazz fan, and season ticket holder, but if this poll was the other way around and it was Todd that was getting the MoHawk you can bet I would be cheering like crazy for the Warriors.  Infact, I would pay a lot of money to see the Matt Barnes look on Todd, especially on Sundays.

I would love to see it as well--I'll have to find a way to work that into the next friendly wager.

In related news, our mom is already giving me grief over my pick.  Things should will be very different at the Oracle!

Unfortunately, it looks like I'm going to have to pay a visit to the barbershop.   I'll post the results sometime soon.

Congrats to gurdflavor and the Jazz, and good luck in the conference finals.  It was a fun run for the Warriors, and a great reminder of why being a sports fan can be so much fun.

Like Don Nelson, you're a good sport Jason. Can't wait to see the new 'do!

I'm happy to see gurdflavor is being a good sport about winning the bet as well.  Okur would of jammed it down your throat.

Utah Versus Golden State Preview
20secondtimeout.blogspot.com 5/7/2007 — You want the honest truth? No result in this series would surprise me, because I did not expect either team to be here in the first place. That said, all of the "X" factors seem to point in Utah's direction.
