A Hall of Fame writer’s lame case against Curt Schilling
Rick Hummel of the St. Louis Times-Dispatch says Curt Schilling has a worse case for the Hall of Fame than Jim Kaat, Jack Morris, Tommy John and Bert Blyleven. Why? Because Schilling has fewer wins, and wins (if you’re an old dog like Hummel) are basically all that matters when gauging a pitcher’s Hall of Fame candidacy.
