I’m seriously giving away my age but I can recall watching the first Monday Night Football telecast in September of 1970. ABC’s Monday Night Football hit the airwaves for the first time on September 21, 1970. The game took place in Cleveland with the defending Super Bowl champion New York Jets visiting the Browns.
