A major player in the Cardinals success over the last 10 years left the organization last night. Mark Lamping was with the Cardinals as Team President for 13 years hiring on Walt Jocketty way back in 1995 to be the General Manager. ... one, but I'm not too sure they even had a choice. Yesterday also brought the big news of Mark Lamping's departure for a billion-dollar project in New York. It's tough to see a local boy (St. John Vianney high school, Saint Louis University) leave, as Mark had a pretty positive reign in St. Louis, but it seems like it was a great opportunity for him to take.
