Even when he tries to do something polite and nice, like congratulate a friend on a pending milestone, he gets bad press for it and ends up defending himself . We don't have a problem with A-Rod congratulating Manny. It's a nice gesture that doesn't hurt the Yankees in any way, and in fact has nothing to do with the team at all. It will be funny to hear A-Rod booed in Fenway when the message comes on, though. ...
