Angels blog — As usual, A’s general manager Billy Beane is already making moves before the end of July. Picking up Scott Hairston (who has a .533 slugging percentage, by the way) from the Padres may not be a sign Beane thinks his team is capable of catching the Angels/Rangers this year.
