A's Harden is strong again in audition for other teams Links6
(04-02) 20:59 PDT -- As a player living strictly within his own world, Manny Ramirez settles into an at-bat like a man sitting down to a five-course meal. No need to rush. Each pitch requires a fresh timeout, complete with a leisurely stroll out of the Manny box to collect his Manny thoughts, and by all means, pass the garlic bread. The Harden Situation
Published 4/3/2008 by Tim Dierkes at MLB Rumors - MLBTradeRumors.com
... Rich Harden is popular this morning - both Bruce Jenkins and Buster Olney discussed his trade value in the wake of his second excellent start of '08.  Jenkins suggests it'll take at least six starts for suitors to begin believing in Harden.  Olney believes he could be the top difference-maker to acquire via trade this summer.  It's pointless to speculate on teams yet - any contender would benefit greatly from adding a healthy Harden (though I will mention that he was recently linked to the Yankees). Pitching Front

... If this was an audition, you figured the Mets, Yankees, Cardinals and Tigers(among many others) were somewhere in the audience. It might take another half-dozen good starts before anyone is convinced that Harden is for real. In their current state, the A's will take whatever comes their way. source SF Gate ...
