I haven't done this in a while, but today, with it being an ugly one outside (it is pouring) and me having extra time to read all about the John Wall story, I guess it is time to rant a bit!

unc5corners.blogspot.com 8/3/2008 — I know that it's the pre-season polls, and I know that the only poll that counts is the one at the end of the season, and I know that there can be another 1,000,000 reasons (or more) for not looking at what USA Today has done with their pre-season poll, but on the other hand, I just love doing this stuff, and couldn't resist.

But, even with all the hype there is that disconcerting feeling because the young man who led the team last year, T.J. Yates, had shoulder surgery that kept him out of spring ball.
