    Memphis's head coach said McKie would act like a player-coach to teach the young guys in Memphis.  Perhaps the title was a bit misleading.  My bad.

     He was most recently working as an unpaid assistant coach for the Sixers.

    I think the CBA says that someone can't be paid only as a coach and play at the same time, because then the money wouldn't count against the cap.
