... of denials by Magic General Manager Otis Smith, the Magic are indeed partners with the Raptors. I’m finally realizing then when Otis tells the media something, the oppositte usually happens. This should help the Magic fill out their roster and bring in some quality players. Good news for Orlando.

Either way, I think matching the offer is the best option for General Manager Otis Smith at this time.

... now may acquire the backup swing man or PG they need in a trade. He can be a solid contributor if he does indeed stay and should play in more than 63 games and his 12.6 MPG should nearly double. With Brandon Bass joining Gortat and Dwight Howard, the Magic have one of the best frountlines in the NBA.

Magic Now Have Two Big Assets

You never know who could get injured, the Magic may need to make another move and having Gortat and the TPE gives them a chance to make this move.
