I'm sure if the Patriots heed his concise, they'll easily be able to masturbate the ball down the field and unseat the Giants on Hump Day. Well, it sure as hell won't be Emmitt Smith. His butchering of the English language and his crazy-ass analysis made it a true miracle that he lasted the entire season without being "let go" by ESPN. Thankfully the entire public (or at least the 67 guys and gals who watch the Jimmy Kimmell show) has now been made aware of what we football fans have been put through this season. Theres no way to sugarcoat this, Emmitt Smith is one of the worst (if not THE worst) TV sports analysts I’ve ever seen in my life. He stumbles, stutters, and stammers over every other sentence, and sometimes makes up words that don’t even exist. Awful Announcing usually keeps pretty good tabs on his funny screwups, but during an episode of Jimmy Kimmel’s show last night they put together this gem. Readers of the Camel Clutch are already aware of my obsession with Emmitt Smith’s broadcasting greatness this season. Apparently I am not the only one to recognize the talents of this dancing machine. Jimmy Kimmel recently paid tribute to Emmitt’s first season with a montage of clips entitled, “Emmitt Smith - Wordsmith.” The irony here is that Kimmel’s show airs on ABC, which is the same company that employs Emmitt.

Dear Emmitt Smith, Congratulations on completing your first season as an NFL commentator for ESPN. A lot of people have been poking fun at your command of the English language. It certainly didn’t help that Jimmy Kimmel aired this highlight video on his show. I admire your restraint.
