 Agent says Bucks' Bogut will sign 5-year, $72.5M extension
Milwaukee Bucks center Andrew Bogut will sign a five-year, $72.5 million extension later this week, his agent said Wednesday. Bogut, the top overall pick in the 2005 draft, was expected to sign the extension Friday, agent David Bauman said. The agreement was first reported Wednesday by the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel on its Web site. [link]

... Andrew Bogut: The Millwaukee Bucks have extended Andrew Bogut with a 5 year, $73 million dollar contract. Bogut is a borderline All-Star, averaging 14.3 points and 9.8 rebounds a game last season. He did come on strong at the end of the season, so maybe the Bucks feel he is going to breakout soon and wanted to lock him up now. I'm not sure I would committ $70 million to him just yet but don't be surprised if Bogut has a big season this year, especially with some added talent around him. ...
