I'm sure the billion 10-year-old girls donning pink, blonde wigs and singing those obnoxious songs had a super time. I'm sure Troy Aikman did, too. Three Super Bowl rings. Hannah Montana. Surely it's the best of both worlds. [link]

Pedroia Wins Rookie of the Year

According to the Associated Press Boston’s own second baseman Dustin Pedroia has won the 2007 AL Rookie of the Year award. Aparently Pedroia finished well ahead of the Rays Delmon Young. In the NL the Brewer’s Ryan Braun won Rookie of the Year by two votes over Colorado’s Troy Tulowitzki, in one of the closest votes ever.

Defending Braun over Tulowitzki

Often we can look back at award voting and question the Baseball writers. Why not, after all it seems there is a large amount of people on the internet complaining that Milwaukee Brewers third basemen Ryan Braun was awarded the NL Rookie of the Year award over Colorado Rockies shortstop Troy Tulowitzki. Honestly both men have more then a deserving case for the award.
