Allen needs a reappearing act - and fast Links3

I believe if the Celtics can pull through against the Cavs, Ray Allen might find his stride agains the Pistons...he'll have to if they hope to stand any chance against them.

Is it possible that we're witnessing a disastrous tail-spin in Allen's career?

I am routing old school for a lakers-Celtics final... I don't think Ray has lost it yet, he still has a sick jumpshot and wouldn't be suprised if he goes off in game 7

That great jumper isn't worth a damn to anyone if he can't get open. And the Cavs haven't let him get open.

As for winning Sunday, it doesn’t matter if LeBron goes off for 50, the Celtics only need these two things to happen: -Someone (Ray, Rondo or Posey) emerge as the 3rd offensive weapon. -Stay even with Cleveland on the boards. Allen needs a reappearing act - and fast Disappear, that’s what a lot of people think Allen has done in this series, and in the playoffs. His lack of production, the Celtics’ inconsistent play on the road, and some classic home cooking from the officials contributed to the need for a Game 7 tomorrow at TD Banknorth Garden to decide who will play the Detroit Pistons in the Eastern Conference finals. Nobody is more frustrated than Allen, who is shooting 34.5 percent from the field in the first six games of this series and has made just 4 of 22 3-pointers, including an 0-for-3 effort last night.
