... In Beard's case, pushing that default button seems like an appealing choice, because she is a lovely young woman. Plus, she is already on display at swim meets, so why not go a little further? Some comments on the AOL Sports blog give an alternative answer to that rhetorical question. Is this an example of the empowerment everyone touts when applauding a female athlete's entry into the sex-symbol market?
