... However, Chass’s disrespect was pointed directly at VORP and the number crunching geeks who supposedly spend all day on their computer sucking the fun out of the game for everyone else. Of course, BPro felt compelled to respond. Nate Silver took the high road with the chicken dung “open letter” approach. Nate certainly was civil in his letter, but publishing an open letter is still an underhanded route of calling one out. Chris Jaffe was much more direct and less civil in a published chat session.
