Chad Cordero's examination with Dr. James Andrews in Birmingham, Ala., is over, and Andrews reaffirmed the diagnosis of tendinitis. The club says Cordero will not need time on the disabled list. Cordero had an MRI exam and what the club referred to as a "thorough examination of the shoulder." Andrews also found general weakness in the shoulder. Cordero had been complaining of "clicking" in his shoulder following Monday night’s appearance in Atlanta. As previously mentioned, clicking in and of itself is not necessarily a pathological symptom. It can occur from faulty shoulder biomechanics stemming from weakness, tightness, and instability.
