Chivas USA's Kljestan Named U.S. Soccer Young Athlete of the Year
100 Percent Soccer — Capping a breakout year, Chivas USA midfielder Sacha Kljestan was named U.S. Young Soccer Athlete of the Year Thursday, He scored a team-leading two goals in three games at the Olympics and played an increasingly influential role for Chivas USA directing traffic and sparking offensive assaults from midfield. He also scored the U.S. Soccer Goal of the Year. More on the other award winners here.

It's "Kljesten", Pronounced Like "Winnner"
The Offside Rules — ... Sacha Kljesten, you may be U-23 Player of the Year but don't expect strangers to start pronouncing your name correctly anytime soon. Especially local sportscasters who have obviously never seen one Chivas USA match. But congrats my dude...you deserve the props.
