Dan Giese is headed to the disabled list with rotator cuff tendonitis in his right shoulder, removing yet another arm from the Yankees’ starting rotation.
Giese left Wednesday’s game with a stiff right shoulder, and while Joe Girardi seemed to think he’d have the righty back in the bullpen by the weekend and then have him for his start on Tuesday, that won’t be the case.
